Doreen Gough (Lancaster) sadly passed away on 12th March 2008 aged 73 from Hartlepool.
Beloved wife to Ray & sister to Miriam beloved Mam to Rita, Roy, Jimmy, Joyce, Carole & Billy beloved Mother in law to Julie, Peter, Trish & Colin.
Beloved Nana to Claire, Rob, Shelly, Michelle, Louise, Kerry, Danielle, Shaun, Gary, Lee, Alan, Emma, Cheryl, Hayley, Sam, Vikki, Paul, Karl, jodileigh & Peter
Beloved Great Nana to Robbie, Jason, Lewis, phoebe, Austin, Scarlet, Harriett, Owen, Jake, Becky, Alfie, Clayton, Jordon, Connor, Zoe & baby Rihanna Doe on way.
My nana Doreen took bad over 2 years ago & was in and out of hospital for random tests constantly, it took the doctors 18 months to diagnose copd (pulmary disease) curvuture of the spine and lung cancer. By this time the cancer was untreatable, so she was sent home with lots of medication & morphine to try & ease the pain she was suffering from. whilst at home she was cared for by carers mary, anthony, nicola and many more as well as her sons & daughters & in laws & grandchildren who made her as comfortable as possible at home where she wanted to be.
My nana sadly passed away at home peacefully in her sleep with family present on wednesday 12th march 2008 a date we will all never forget.
My nana Doreen was a very special woman kind & loving she was always singing , baking and knitting for us all. she always told it like it was no if's or but's about it, she was and still is loved dearly by all her family and we all miss her so much but we know she is in a better place and is finally in peace which she deserves.

Christmas In Heaven
I see the countless Christmas Trees around the world below,
with tiny lights, like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away that tear,
for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
but the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
for it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me. I see the pain inside your heart,
but I am not so far away. We really aren't apart.
